The TYPHON STOMP 509 is small in stature, but a giant in performance. This 3100 lbs skid-steer loader is small enough to get in tight spots, yet strong enough to get any job done. This agile little workhorse is the ideal size for scooting through narrow doorways, corridors, small paths and gates, and for working under low ceilings. It’s the perfect loader whenever the job is too big for a shovel or the space is too small for a larger machine.Behind the controls, you’ll effectively complete demanding work where other machines struggle or can’t go.
Sporting an EPA approved Kubota D1105 3-cylinder, indirect injection diesel engine packed with 25 hp of power, the TYPHON STOMP 509 is your ideal workhorse to get small projects done. The Kubota D1105 is vertical, water cooled 4-cycle diesel engine; it packs a power of 25 hp at 3000 RPM and 19 hp at 2200 RPM.
The TYPHON STOMP 509 has an operational weight of 1.4 ton and a transport length of 2570mm with bucket. The bucket width is 1010mm, and the maximum unloading height is 2150mm. With a dump reach of 560mm and dump angle of 33 degrees on the ground and a dump angle of 45 degrees at the highest point, the skid steer sports a radial lift height of 3050mm and a height to bucket pin of 2580mm.
It has a travel speed of 9 km/h, with a transport width and height of 1065mm and 1940mm , respectively. The rated operating capacity of this construction machine is 840lbs at the highest point.
STOMP 509 features Zero-turn capability. It pivots 360° within its own body length without any extra forward/reverse movement. This allows the STOMP to turn sharply around obstacles in confined spaces.
With a bucket width of 40 inches (1010mm), the STOMP 509 scoops, lifts, and transports materials on a job site using its large front-mounted bucket. This makes the STOMP essential for tasks like loading dump trucks, moving large quantities of sand, gravel, or debris, and performing site preparation and cleanup. With specialized attachments, the STOMP can perform tasks like digging, loading, grading, demolition, snow-blowing and landscaping.
With a widened interior cabin width of 700mm, the STOMP 509 is able to accommodate a large operator comfortably. An improved pilot control system allows for sensitive control and quick responses when operating the STOMP.

Excellent hydraulic flow for attachments. The reason I chose the Typhon Stomp was its promise of power from the D1105 diesel. I frequently use a hydraulic trencher and a heavier grapple bucket, and this machine handles the continuous hydraulic demand without overheating or bogging down. Maintenance points are easily accessible, which is a big plus for daily checks. The fuel economy is also much better than I anticipated. This mini skid steer is built to work.

The best mini-skid value on the market, period. I’m a professional landscaper, and I’ve been running mini-skids for a decade. The Typhon Stomp, with the Kubota D1105, is a serious piece of equipment. You can’t beat that engine for longevity and parts availability. It starts reliably even on cold mornings and has zero issues running my heavy-duty auger or my power rake. The stand-on platform is comfortable, and the controls are responsive. It’s compact enough to squeeze through tight residential gates but has the power of much larger machines.
